Description
Directed by Roger Vadim, this extraordinary Scifi Erotic Adventure, starred Vadim's then consort, Jane Fonda. The design (by Robin Ray) presents fantasy imagery that would have looked futuristic but would also have resonated with the "flower-power" psychedelic mood of contemporary 1968 Britain. Most often, separate poster designs would be employed in the UK & America & "Babarella" is no exception. In the USA a Robert McGinnis design was used as shown. A separate design was commissioned in the UK by Paramount, probably because they recognised that it would be difficult to adapt the McGinnis design to a Quad format. The poster has been cleaned, de-acidified & linen-backed.
