Description
There is some confusion as to the exact identity of the poster artist here (it is certainly not by Tom Chantrell or Sam Peffer) but according to Sim Branaghan's "British Film Posters" tome (2006), the illustrator is probably Barry James. The film was another spin-off from the original 1974 film "Emmanuelle", this time set in seedy Soho. Part documentary, part "erotic" drama, like so many sexploitation pics, this one features acting so bad that unintentional humour abounds. Value for money though, as "Emmanuelle" was double-billed with "Massage Girls of Bangkok". "The World's Most Notorious Vice Spots Together At Last" apparently! A relic of more innocent times when such low budget affairs could still warrant major screen releases & proved commercially successful. However, this was one of the last major British Sex-Comedy films, the advent of video soon opening the floodgates for more racey material outside the confines of the cinema.
