Description
The David Lean classic "Lawrence of Arabia" was first released in 1962. Being such a commercial & critical success (it won 7 Oscars including "Best Picture") the film was re-released in the UK at various times during the 1960's & early 70's. An original 1st release "Lawrence.." Quad sold at Christies for over £13,000 in 2005. The poster here, however, is a first release "Oscars" poster (the variant after the "pre-Oscars" version). The poster has been cleaned, de-acidified & linen-backed.
