Description
A simple but classy poster design for this classic Woody Allen Comedy set in New York. Although only in black & white & essentially a photographic image, what makes this poster so distintctive is the Joseph Caroff designed "Manhattan" logo, the letters elongated & customised to represent the Manhattan skyline. Caroff is perhaps best known for his iconic James Bond "007" logo, designed such that a gun is incorpoated into the "007" text. This device has become a common feature in most Bond Quad posters. We attach an image of an early UK Double-Crown Advance poster which shows the iconic "007" logo.
