A suitably saucy poster depiction by the great Tom Chantrell. "Private Nurse" was one of many foreign Sex Comedy films to be distributed in the UK during the 1970's. Although the domestic industry was busy supplying the market with this kind of fare, canny distributors realised that the UK audience expected similar "foreign" productions to be somewhat racier. Chantrell left the Allardyce advertising agency & went freelance in 1971. Although Chantrell was responsible for some of the great British poster designs of the era (Star Wars", "Brighton Rock", One Milion Years BC" etc), Chantrell took a very commercial attitude to his work & therefore was more than happy to illustrate Sex film posters like this. Having a particular ability to make the female form alluring on paper (after "One Million years BC" Chantrell was Raquel Welch's poster artist of choice), Chantrell was well placed to put his prodigious talents to good use as Sex films flooded the world of 1970's Cinema. The poster has been cleaned, de-acidified & linen-backed.
