This poster for "She" marked the debut in the collaboration between Hammer Studios & the artist Tom Chantrell. Chantrell was to be responsible for an uninterrupted run of poster designs for Hammer from 1965-70. Chantrell was known to favour formidable film titles, often featuring them in lurid day-glo. Here, however, Chantrell incorporates the film title into the artwork to great effect. As Marcus Hearn also says in the excellent book "The Art of Hammer" (2010), "this collectable poster owes an obvious debt to the then-recent marketing campaign for Zulu" (1964).
