A framed & glazed UK Quad poster for this 1962 comedy & one of the few posters in the Fisken poster collection to feature a car! The film was a typical early 60's British comedy being light & faintly whimisical (after WWII & the period of austerity that followed such undemanding fare was particularly popular). The film was made at Beaconsfield studios & filmed in the leafy lanes, villages & suburbs of Buckinghamshire. There is a particular reason for this poster to feature in the collection. The "Fast Lady" in the film was a 1927 4.5 litre Bentley & Fiskens sold this very car in 2010 (it is likely that the buyer paid a little more than the £350 that Leslie Phillips was asked to pay for the car after filming in 1962....Phillips declined to buy).
