Year: 1965

Description
The first in the trilogy of films which was to introduce Michael Caine as the Cold War spy, "Harry Palmer". Although the persona Caine adopted for "Harry Palmer" was very different to the suave & well-heeled character of James Bond, the parallels between these series are obvious. It is not surprising that Cubby Broccoli's co-producer, Harry Saltzman, was also responsible for "The Ipcress File". The other 2 films in the "Harry Palmer" trilogy were "Funeral In Berlin" (1966) & "Billion Dollar Brain" (1967). "Ipcress" is a difficult poster to find especially in good presentable condition like this example. The poster has been cleaned, de-acidified & linen-backed.
