Description
A good example of how different the marketing campaign for the same film could be either side of the Atlantic. In the UK, Arnaldo Putzu produced this eye-catching design, the discordant colour combination echoing the "flower-power" sensibilities of the time. In the States, a photographic route was preferred, though both posters focused in on the romantic relationship of the two leads, Steve McQueen & Faye Dunaway. The soundtrack of the film featured the Michel Legrand song "The Windmills Of Your Mind" sung by Noel Harrison (son of Rex). The poster has been cleaned, de-acidified & linen-backed.
