Description
An interesting curio from 1980, providing a bridge between the classic first four "St Trinians" films (1954-66) & the recent re-invention of the series in 2007, 2009 & 2013. Against the backdrop of suspenders & stockings is a Ronald Searle vignette. This is particularly fitting as Searle's "St Trinian's" cartoon series provided the inspiration for the series & indeed Searle provided his trademark illustrations to previous "St Trinian's" poster designs & to the opening credits sequences too.
